GPU or CPU upgrade?

[Dazzler1983]

Hi All, looking to upgrade my PC but not sure what to go for first.

Current specs;
i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz
1080ti
Gaming at 1440p

I feel like I may see a bigger gain on a GPU? Stock and prices seem more reasonable than they were, likely looking at a 3080.

Any advice welcomed!

Excellent, figured that would be the route to take. Advice appreciated.
