GPU Overclcok

Is the ATI overdrive a good clock tool? I have not overclocked a GPU before just CPU. Is thr any rules of thumbs etc that i sould be aware off? Or is it just keeping those temps down?

Depends what graphics card and if it will allow voltage tweak to reach your maximum overclock, ati over driver is pretty basic, use msi afterburner.

Afterburner will be the way to go.

Test using ATI Tool to check for artifacts and I personally found Heaven benchmark and games benchmarks more reliable way of checking for stable overclock than furmark (could pass furmark tests but lock up in games/benching)

Keep temps down best you can and your away
