Playing with a 7970 and thinking of overclocking it, but was wondering if using AMD Overdrive in the catalyst control centre would instantly void my warranty?

Thanks in advance,
Stickman. :)

No, because its all software based and doesnt change the hardware.

this.
as long as you dont remove the casing etc... you will be fine.
also give Msi Afterburner a look, for overclocking, loads og guides on google/youtube

edit.
here is a guide for overclocking your card, and it does say to use Amd overdrive. (unless Msi have updated it for the HD 7970 since the review)
