I have a gaming laptop, its and Acer i7-9750H with NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti mobile
Issues are over heating on the stock GPU settings.

I have tried undervolting. But the NVIDIA UI and MSI Afterburner is an awful UI to the AMD what I use on my PC.

With he screen shot I posted does it look like a good setting for an undervolt? As I do not understand this system and from YT channel for optimization. I found AMD 10000000% easier to understand lol.

Can I improve on this to what I set? Thanks

Will likely need a repaste with it being a laptop.
this ^

eons ago when i used a laptop as my main computer a repaste dropped the temps by 20c, granted i left it about 4 years with the original paste.
the "thermal paste" looked like dusty makeup when i opened up the chassis lol

they often dont cover the whole of the GPU either. Apart from that and making sure it has plenty of ventilation beneath it for airflow (or get a decent laptop cooler) not a lot else you can do. Still kills me when I see people putting laptops on carpets, tables with tablecloths, their knee (cos it keeps them warm). Seen it in adverts too that Google Chromebook ad that was always on TV at one point the actress puts it on a shagpile carpet. Absolute idiots. Its like wrapping your desktop PC in a blanket.

if you are talking about opening the laptop to reapply paste to the GPU and heat sink and fan. I have forgotten to say, this laptop bought 2nd hand cheep, found the GPU was blown. Bought a used MB. The laptop was professionally cleaned, and yes all the fans were clogged with dust etc. New board was installed, every thing worked. Also it was bench stress tested over several hours with no issues on the replacement board. And yes all components were pasted properly.

All i`m asking is how do I undervolt the GPU? As I do not understand the MSI afterburner and there are no settings on the NVIDIA app to adjust the GPU settings. My main PC uses AMD, and the adrenalin app software is 10,000% easier to use and you can precisely set all GPU settings with little effort.
I added a screen shot to ask is this a good setup for undervolting, as the YT videos do not explain in detail how to do this with MSI afterburner.

Laptop coolers do not work googling them and there is no evidence to say they are effective. Gaming laptops do run hotter than PC`s and are designed to. However they shouldn't run for long periods over 80 deg c. Hence undervolting to reduce the temperature.
I can undervolt my PC easily as the system is much easier to understand. Even though my PC is water and multi fan air cooled. Undervolting that as given be better performance and reduced the GPU temp by 10 deg c, giving it a longer life span.
