GPU Placement

Just a quick question, ive recently got a 7950 and ive never had a GPU this big of long. Basicly my GPU seems to hang abit on the right hand side

Is this normal?

I wouldn't use one but it would deffo straighten any benditure up (is that a word?)

Don't backplates solve that issue too?

Benditure, this forum teaches me something new everyday.

Ive had this with a few gpu's, strangely in most cases they were single slot cards.

I've come to the conclusion i'm going to buy one

all my big gpus have had this problem on my last one i arranged the pcie power cables so that they made the card stay straight by wrapping them around the bottom
not the best solution but it worked

You could try using your pcie cables to help support it perhaps in conjunction with a couple of cable ties?

I think as long as you screw down the IO bracket (is that what it's called?) to the case well it shouldn't be an issue, plus cases are mostly stationary

Yeah ive always used to cables and water pipes to support mine

when ive moved house in teh past i rammed some foam in there to stop anything moving
