GPU Prices .... buy now or wait ?

I would say wait for Volta as it's 'only' a few months away but I suspect now that Vega launched and hit the deck they have no real incentive to release Volta. Might as well milk the current gen for as long as they can which will be some time by the looks of it.

Generally as we go through life, there is one direction that prices of things go, and that is most definitely UP!

The only time they go down is when a new model is released and its superseded. Until then you're wishing for snow at christmas.

I just upgraded my 970 G1 gaming to a 1070 G1 gaming after 2 years of not being able to run things maxed out.

Last night fell into bed at 2.30 am after playing Fallout 4 for 6 hours straight. Awesome world at 1440p

I sold my 970 for £180 and paid £395 for the 1070.

Best upgrade ever after 20 + years of buying graphics cards.

Diminishing returns don't enter into it.
