Yeah at this rate I'm starting to just keep old hardware, no point in upgrading when components are getting so expensive, desktop isn't dying it's the pricing that is killing it.So glad I got my MSI GeForce GTX 1080 GAMING X 8G for £430... back in May.

£380 for my vega 56 in August at launch.. if ever there was a good piece of timing that was it for me! Still, nice to see the prices relaxing a bit.
Yep why we did it as they are superb processors, also the 16G kits at £140 is much better than the closer to £200 they've being recently and the TeamGroup SSD's are much better value for money. If we can shave £20, £50 and £100 here and there, it makes the DIY market look a little more attractive and helps to compensate for the graphics card price increases.
