All the leftover stock from RTX 2xxx has increased in price, and the stock for RTX 3xxx looks to be potentially low this side of Christmas.

Do you think that prices before Christmas will go up even more?

I am still using a GTX 970 and was hoping to upgrade before Christmas to play Cyberpunk 2077. I know others are in the same boat.

No idea why they would be more expensive but I doubt they will come down in price much.
I can’t recommend going for one though as you will just regret it when 3000 series becomes widely available.
Do you mean the 2000 or 3000 series going up in price ?

The only 2000 series cards left are the remaining stock places have. No idea why they would be more expensive right enough but I doubt they will come down in price much.

I only want one Ampere card to become available. No chuffing luck yet:rolleyes:

It depends on Nvidia's MRSP, etailers margins, exchange rate and intermediary costs (like shipping, warehousing etc). It wouldn't surprise me if Nvidia are driving a lot of cost to shift 2000 series stock.

Exchange rate will keep them above RRP for the life of the product over here I think, the last few releases once price has risen at any point it doesn't come down. It's why I chanced an order on the msi ventus right at launch, only to see it wasn't up to scratch in a few ways - temps versus the competition, a plastic backplate (graphene, yeah right) and worse power delivery. Cancelled that order, paid the full whack for a TUF preorder and found I was 1716 in queue with no cards delivered! I think there is no point in locking in a price now, ocuk pre-empted the price rise on launch day so it should stay pretty stable. The only thing you are holding on to is queue position

Wait for Big Navi launch (next week) and consoles in 2 or 3 weeks ?

30xx stock situation will magically improve after those product launches ?
