I was looking at getting a new gpu in the area of £400, then saw the fury x and decided to up my budget a bit. But now I'm wondering if I should up the budget a tad more and go for the 980 ti... any advice?

It seems that the ti generally pips the fury x in benchmarks, plus it's tried and tested....

cheers

I was in the same boat and looking at these new cards.

In the end I got a very good price on a MSI R9 390X so went with that over my 7870 Black Edition, and the bump has been worth it. Decided to go this route and wait for the die shrink 20/16nm in a year or so and then look at a faster card or wait for HBM to become a little more mature.

Very sensible and probably exactly what I should do..... Problem is that I have no self control and want to buy something super spangly :D
