Gpu Question

Should I get a 570 soc by gigabyte at Christmas, or wait till AMD/NVIDIA bring out there newer series gpu's whenever that will be !?

If you're happy to wait till Christmas for a new GPU then I'm sure you could wait a little longer to for the next release of cards.

I think ATI has a release towards the end of the year iirc (may be inaccurate).

okay, well it's I just don't want to my a Gpu and for the newer ones to come out a week or two later..lol.. And I don't mind waiting under 2-3months. Has anyone got any internet pages that suggest an accurate date on which either come out?

I think I read an article on bit-tech regarding the ATI cards but know nothing about Nvidia. I've sorta got behind on the GPU scene recently.

As you've already waited so long I guess it won't hurt to hold fire for another while longer. The rumour is that AMD will release something within their new line up around December, though whether they will be low, mid or high end cards is another question. To start off with I don't think it'll be a high performance gpu launch, but we shall see.

Since you're happy to do so, I'd hang on until December, maybe then we'll have received some information about what and when.

i read somewhere that the 7000 series is coming out early december.

oh wow, hopefully that will happen lol, and they best be high end cards (over £200)
