Hello,
I'm new to his forum and haven't used one for 15 years so please bear with me

I recently returned a gpu for an rma after less then a month of usage, middle fan was noisy suspected fan bearing. How quick do overclockers normally take to fix and return items

I'm curious because iv been reading the reviews recently and I'm geting a little anxious on how long it will take
Some say 2 weeks some have sed over a month, I'm anxious because this was my only gpu and I need it to stream and play vr.
the only piece of tech that now keeps me connected is my phone because I gave my old gpu to a friend

Thank you

Hi your best bet is probably to contact the store direct as from memory how long an rma can take can vary massively depending on how old it is, and more importantly the manufacturer (IIRC some are far faster at repairs/issuing credit notes/replacements than others).

Hi thank you for replying
The card I bought was a 4090 strix on the 7th, got delivered on the 8th September and picked up by DPD on the 9th October

Remember that if there’s no stock, they would have to wait for the supplier to ship them replacement units (and probably units that they can sell).

Going for popular models of motherboard, GPU etc will mean a faster RMA.

Hope this helps

Hi thank you for the replies
overclockers actually replaced my 4090 prity quickly and dpd delivered it on Sunday

Unfortunately this gpu is dead within 24hour and the only game I got to play was war zone
The pc turns on but no display and only the center fan spins
This is turning into a nightmare, I only sent my other gpu back because of a noisy fan and ended up with a dead gpu within 4 hours of play time

Best contact ocuk. Again

If its an RMA from the store the should be a matter of days normally. If its a warranty return to the OEM... good luck with that I did it once took an entire month and they sent me out another one which was also faulty just in a different way
