So my Asus GTX 970 is sagging a bit now and after searching around I can't seem to find any sort of tool that is easily bought for us in the UK.

Is there a bracket or tool that is readily available like the puget systems GPU bracket?

What about a thick backplate like the EK backplate. My friend said they are thick and stop sagging.

I use black thread tied around the power cables around the point they're inserted in to the card. I take the other end and tie it off through the holes at the top of my 650d case. Takes away the sag, it's unobtrusive and it didn't cost me anything.

Fishing wire or cable ties. Last time I had it I routed the PCI-E cables to come from above the card and pulled them tight at the back of the case. Worked a treat

Why not just get a backplate instead of building a tower of lego, string etc...

Because the sag happens at the pci-e slot. No matter how rigid the card is, if its heavy enough it will still sag unless u manage to get a backplate which fixes onto the pci bracket which to my knowledge dosnt exist.

I do the same with having power cables above the card allowing the cables to take some of the weight. Other than that ill just get some thin couple pound weight fishing wire where u cnt even notice it lookin through case window.

Powerjack user here, great little product, but hard to come by. I was lucky to get mine from eBay. Works a treat though, if you can get your hands on one.

Wooden dowel cut to size and painted black is what I used to use with my triple slot GTX570. Worked fine. :)

Also used a trimmed down black biro casing before. Using fishing wire tied to the card and somewhere at the top of the case to support it from above is a popular suggestion, though I prefer not to do this, and I don't think I've actually ever seen someone do it, only seen it suggested! :p

i used my sons building block at the end that was sagging to keep it supported and i also tested with Lego but he refused to let me use this lol
