GPU Slow Death?

Hi,

I recently upgraded to Windows 10 from 7 and at first, all was fine. Recently though, I've noticed that upon entering Windows after booting, the Microsoft Edge page looks corrupted. This evening, I've started to see this happen on a few other pages/situations, but the strange thing is that a lot of the time everything is fine.

I'm using the latest Nvidia drivers (funnily enough, I've just attempted to find out what the driver release number is - 416.81 IIRC - and Geforce Experience looked like a garbled mess as well).

I entered the address and page looked fine on mine.

Probably best use DDU to remove all trace of old Windows 7 driver left behind after upgraded to Windows 10 then clean install latest driver.

Try a different browser. Make sure latest GPU drivers.

It hasn't done it in Chrome which is what I use 99% of the time. I may try ddu for this instance, that is if it continues to persist.

It could be due to hardware acceleration enabled/disabled in the browser.

I don't know what must have happened, an update of some kind most likely, but everything seems to be fine now. I'm quite relieved, I'm sure there's plenty of life left in the old 980Ti yet!

Hope that's not famous last words...
