GPU suggestions

Hi guys, i am doing a home build and want a decent GPU that will run VR and gaming smoothly, i am using a ryzen 5 3600, and 16gb of ram and running a nvme ssd 1tb with the tomahawk x570 wifi board.
i dont mind spending between 400-600 on the gpu if it does what i want it do do.
the build is purely for games and VR.

any help appreciated as the youtube vids ont his are a minefield to whats good and whats not.

RTX 3060Ti is your best bet for that price range, unless you can find a 3070 for £550.

Is it worth spending a bit more, is there a notiicable difference by doing so?

Yeah a RTX 300 series at normal price would be good, but failing that a GTX 1080ti would do the job at the right price.
