I'm getting low 60s GPU temperature running MSI Afterburner in BF 2042 but low 90s GPU temperature 2. I've read that the one to go by is GPU temperature and that low 90s is normal for GPU temperature 2.

Is this right?

I would go and get GPUZ and see what it says. Afterburner is normally good with temps though.

If 90 is memory... well its getting a bit too close to the 100c DDR6 limit. If its the main die hotspot, thats also not so good.

there is also no such option for gpu temp 2 in afterburner, ive just looked
There is in mine...

Yeah definitely an AMD vs Nvidia thing, temps in my new Fractal Torrent case pretty good, GPU temperature whilst playing BF 2042 low 60s, CPU temps usually just over 60c but often mid 50s.

GPU temperature 2 about 90C when playing BF 2042 the max operating temp is 110C to 115C.

Old case CPU temps mid 60s to 70s sometimes spiking up to 80C, I've yet to see my CPU go to 70C in my new case. Never checked GPU temps in old case but I think the main problem air flow wise was the GPU dumping all its heat into the case which had an adverse affect on CPU temps.

GPU probably wasn't over heating in old case as it has good fans to keep it cool.

"I have the 6750xt Red Devil, I only undervolt to 1150mv, anything below isn't 100% stable, it still boosts to 2750~MHz. It sits 60-65c under full load, Hot spot 90-95c (And it's summer here 30c+), it is quite normal imho, I've not really tried overclocking yet, not needed to."
I’ve got the same Red Devil and it behaves exactly the same. Honestly it’s a bit of a beast I can run the core at 2.9Ghz stable in games. @JediFragger
