Hi, as per title and signature, what would be best cheap GPU to pair my 6700K with around Black Friday? Budget probably not going to be more than £300. My RX 480 served me well but can feel it aging, full upgrade not an option for at least a few years, maybe more, hoping my 6700K won't die. Possibly could upgrade to 7700K but from what I saw it's only like +0.2GHz with no other bonuses.

Looking at red side to be honest, not a fan of nVidia at all and don't really trust Intel yet with gpus. Would a 6700XT be the best I can get, considering it's a 12GB too, as well as being likely I would be keeping the card when/if I upgrade rest of my system?

Right now, yes. By Black Friday, who knows, though personally if I wanted to keep it for the long-term I'd consider going up a tier to the 16GB cards.

I would get an RX6700XT which is £300 with Starfield included. By Black Friday, the stock will probably run out and the cheapest AMD card near £300,will be the £270 RX7600 8GB.

There could be an RX7700 non-XT under £400,but only at Gamescom in a few weeks we might find out if this is the case.

Thanks for your replies, however washer dryer decided to die literally 3 days after posting, and i was ready to get 6700XT . . .

I'll save a new post and use this instead, would a 7700XT or 7800XT, provided they get a small price drop on Black Friday, be overkill? And would my 650W Superflower Leadex Gold be alright even though them two state minimum of 700W?

Either would be a big upgrade on a 480. From what I've seen, the 7700 XT doesn't have much of a power usage advantage, if that's something you're thinking about.

No guarantee that we'll see a significant price cut on the 7700XT before black Friday, also the Starfield promotion is supposed to end at the end of September, so if that has any value to you (either to play or sell!) it's worth bearing in mind
