GPU to replace A10-6800K APU?

Hey,

Got a friend whose looking to upgrade from their APU to a standalone GPU for better performance - main game being World of Tanks.

How does the R7 260X compare to the A10's onboard 8670d?

I can't seem to find any good benchmarks.

Are there any beter alternatives to the 260X, and is the 260X a worthy upgrade?

The 260X is kinda over budget (£100 budget), so is there a card that's cheaper but more suitable?

Stretch your budget to a HD 7850 2GB, it's worth saving a lil longer if need be. Anything less than that and the price VS performance really isn't very good.

260X is a fair bit slower than a 7850 and just as expensive.

I agree there's no real point in getting anything below it. The 6800K already performs around the quality of a £50-£60 card.
