GPU Updrage - will I be OK?

I have a 'Titan Exodus' system that I ordered from OCUK about 2 years ago

Basic specs are:
i5 760 @ 4ghz
Gigabyte GA-P55
Antec 300 tower

I currently have a MSI GTX 460 (which runs great still!)

Last week I upgraded to a 27" IPS screen, so need an upgrade to keep Warcraft > 60fps permanently at the ultra high resolution. (the 460 check in at about 30-40 fps)

I'm pretty sure the case can fit the GTX 670 in it.
The MBoard is PCIE 2.0 (not 3.0) will that be an issue?

Am I being too ambitious looking at this card with a slightly older CPU - the system still feels lightning fast and I have no plans to change it.

PCIe 2.0 will be fine with a single monitor and card, there is almost no difference in performance between PCIe 2 and 3.

As to your CPU I don't know much about an i5 760 so its best if someone else comments on it.

Nothing wrong with the i5 760, its still a solid CPU for games and everything else.

I don't think there is a CPU out yet that can hold solid 60fps for WOW under any circumstances considering the game pretty much only uses one core...

i5 @ 4ghz will drive a 670 with no probs
