GPU Upgrade Advice

Greetings

I'm looking at upgrading my GPU without updating motherboard etc.

I currently have Asus Crosshair V Formula Z motherboard with a Gigabyte ATI Radeon HD 7850 OC Windforce 2X 2048MB GDDR5 GPU.

I was looking at Radeon RX590 8192 GDDR5 but unsure if my current setup would be good for it.
My PSU is a Seasonic M12ii evo edition 850w.

That would be a massive upgrade and if you went for the Powercolour RX590 Red Dragon at £150 probably the best bang for buck card around at the moment. Your psu has a single 12v rail of 70A/840w so it will power it with no problems. As your motherboard is AM3+ what cpu are you using?

You'll be fine. Be aware that the 590 is end of life, though it's still a fine card. The rest of your kit needs an upgrade too, but that can come later.
