GPU upgrade for a friends system

Hi,
My friend is looking to upgrade his system, and the best bet is a new GPU.
This is his current system, which is about 8 months old:
A10-5800k
Gigabyte FM2 A85X Motherboard
8GB RAM
Windows 7 x64

He currently games using the onboard graphics, which is sufficient but he is looking for an upgrade. What would be the best upgrade? Don't really want to go over £120, secondhand doesn't matter but he would definitely prefer it if it wasn't.

For £120 the best upgrade is a 7850.

That'll come with a couple of games too.

I'd advise an overclock on the CPU if it isn't already. The 5800K can go as high as 4.8GHz if you've got a good chip.

If he's not overclocking his CPU, he might as well just grab a 7770, as the CPU would be bottlenecking.

The CPU will be fine for the vast majority of games with a 7850, and basically all console games. An overclock will help push up FPS in some games, and will obviously make the system a bit quicker overall. Anything over 4.2GHz would be good.

Consoles games target 30fps. Also while the A10-5800K is based on Piledriver cores, the lack of L3 cache make it only on par with the Bulldozer FX4 in many according to review.

The A10-5800K would also be on par with my old Q6600 oc to 3.60GHz at best, which I found was bottlenecking my 5850 in quite a lot of games (let alone a 7850 that's 30-40% faster).
