GPU upgrade for blue/black theme.

Looking to upgrade in the coming 3 weeks/month, was looking to grab a 780, but sadly no blue ones I can see, and not sure how well AMD's drivers are at the moment or would what be equivalent to a 780.

I guess Gigabyte because of the black shroud would look. I have plastidip which I could use if that works?

Or, wait for the 800 series?

Edit: Can get an MSI R9 290 for £240.

or a Gigabyte 780 OC for £316.
