Morning.

Looking to upgrade my complete system soon and was wondering what card to get.

res: 1680 x 1050.

budget for card £250

coming from a 6800GT :D

£300 for a 4870 1gb i could buy two for that price.

Nobody said anything about £300. The op said he has a budget of £250 and another poster mentions he should save himself £50 and get a a 48701gb which on ocuk are £199.99 i believe atm. I guess you just added 50 to 250 and came out with 300.

+1 4870 1gb

Ati are outselling nvidia 5-1 on here according to one of the guys that runs these forums. So as you can expect there will be far more posts with ati card trouble. Nothing wrong with the gtx260 its just that the 4870 1gb is cheaper and just as fast. The 1gb 4870 has more memory and more memory bandwidth over the gtx260 also cheaper.
