Hi guys,

Basically next month I'll have ~£400 for a GPU setup. Just wanting to know what will be the best for my money.

I have an OCZ 1000W Gold PSU, so that shouldn't be an issue at all for power. Currently running an i7 920 @ 4GHz, and a X58a-UD3R rev 1 motherboard. Will be gaming @ 1920 x 1080.

I'm after something quiet (without going into liquid cooling) and gets me the most of my money. Got enough room for crossfire/SLI setups, so fire away :D

Edit: I do leave my PC on 24/7 now, and it's in the same room as I am, so something that is quiet and cool would be preferable!

What sort of RAM would I be looking at in these cards? I'm currently borrowing a 480GTX with 1.5GB vRAM, and when I play BF3 it rises up pretty quickly to 1.3GB. This is without me using any AA at all.

Not gonna lie, I would stretch for the 7970, just waiting for the custom coolers to roll in first!

Kinda want to see what NVIDIA bring to the tables, but I have been out of the loop on their release dates.

Fun sidenote, where I'm from, we don't pay VAT. We just get slapped with some fun shipping instead. Any ideas when custom cooled 7970s hit the shelves?
