If you're not rich, but still have a bit of cash to splash, get a 780 Lightning and overclock the crap out of it - That's what I'm in the middle of doing, anyway!!![]()

Basically - If I can't see the difference without using benchmarking software, it ain't that big a difference!!
I'll possibly knock something up for my fellow utter-Noobs, perhaps, wherein all my points of reference have nothing to do with technical stuff and are more about real-world gaming. Main audience target would likely be the parent buying something for the kid, or a friend of mine who feels opening up the case is still a step too technical for him (he's a former Mac user that I rescued, heh heh!!).
As standard a reference GTX780 is around a 12% performance increase over a GTX590, of course most GTX780's are not reference clocked.
cant do quad on my gigabyte z87 oc board no plx chip was going to upgrade my 590 when the 690 came out but then the 780 and 780ti titan came out lol now the titan black is out
think i should wait for the new 20nm gpus
