GPU Upgrade

Hi Fellas,

I am looking at upgrading two GPU's found in one of my builds, while my other rig has R9 290x's (Which is fine) The rig I use more often uses two 270x's, and I find @1400p they are truggling quite a lot.

Now, I know some of you will say switch them over, but, this Rig is X79 based Watercooled so is the overall better system, just not in terms of raw GPU power.

So, what GPU would be good for 1400p, with a full cover waterblock which I can buy alongside? My aim to to put everything under a loop for silence.

I have always been team Red, but unsure if team green is a good option? I will be using three displays, one on Display Port, two on DVI-D.

Fury is overpriced for what it is, but I'm looking for around the £250 mark in total, less is preferred.

I can't advise on the water cooling, but a 390 is a good bet at the £250 level for AMD.

If you want to spend below, 970s sometimes go for a little less.

Ended up going for a 980 at a bargain price.

Now to sell my 270x's...
