GPU Upgrade

Currently just upgraded my rig to an i5-6600k @ 4.6, 8gb DDR4 3000mhz, asus z170p and looking to upgrade from my current R9 280 3GB

Looking at either an RX480 or RX470.

I play at 1080p, mainly CSGO, Rocket League but also newer games such as Mass Effect (this week ofc) Doom, Resident Evil ect....

I'm currently running a strix rx480 and it's served me well but that's in a older CPU, fx6350. So no doubt will work well on your 6600k.
The 480s prices are pretty good at the moment also

Wish I had access to the MM again. I made a mistake a few years ago and got banned lol Think it was down to some sort of violation. Cannot remember lol

4gb or 8gb 480 would be my choice, the 8 gb is down to £200 and if you plan on a higher res monitor but the 4gb is great value.

Gtx 1060 but i wouldnt get the 3gb version personally as some modern games use more than 3gb of vram.
