GPU upgrade

evening all

I've sold my strix 480 today thanks to the mining craze that upon us and looking for some recommendations.
system is in my sig, currently game at 1080p 144hz, may make the jump to 1440p at some point, playing games like overwatch, LoL, Witcher 3, forza Horizon 3.

1070 seems the obvious choice, but for £100 or so more I'm in 1080 world?
any recommendations on either 1070 or 1080, and which model. I want to keep things as quiet and as cool as possible also.

Max all setting in all your games & get 60fps always ,
would go over 60fps if i did not have the 60 fps lock on , a over kill for 60hz ,
I own the mini itx 1070 & you can set the fan to start up when temp gets to 50 /60c ,
i think its same with the zotac ,

If i was to upgrade again , i would skip the gtx 1080 & go right to the 1080 Ti 11gb

I game at 1920 x 1080p 60hz on 27inc monitor
