Hi All, have that friday morning itch that needs tending to.

having recently upgrading my rig from a 3770 non k to a 9700k, i now feel the itch to update my GPU.

currently have an EVGA 1070 SC. my itch wants me to upgrade to a RTX 2080 Super, i normally skip 1 generation before i update my gpu but since ive changed my monitor i want more frames, so its likely that i will skip the 3000 gen of gpu's.

currently gaming at 1440p 144hz and have no intention of going 4k, mainly after more frames with more settings turned up.

what sort of % improvement should i expect or any other suggestions welcome.

You've got the itch at just the wrong time. Both Nvidia and Intel are expected to release their new GPUs next year.

But since you've got the itch, EVGA and Gigabyte and Zotac are the go-to brands for their UK RMA.
