Hey guys

Just want to double check the compatibility of a water block for my graphics card. I've checked on the cooling configurator site and looks like it should be fine.

My graphics card is the Sapphire R9 290X Tri-X (11226-03-40G) which I understand is the AMD reference design but with Sapphire's Tri-X cooler.

with the EK Water Blocks EK-FC R9-290X - Acetal water block (Manufacturers Code: 3831109868546)

Thanks. :)

I have never been let down by coolingconfigurator.com by it being wrong.

Also I know that the sapphire card doesn't require ver 2.0 of the blocks.

Starting to think more seriously about WCing now rofls?
(nice sig link btw)

Blocks, rads, fans and fittings will be down to you for the most part. I don't really know your case or how you are currently occupying it (I just know it is fairly massive with lots of mounting options) so making choices for you is hard.

When I was struggling with pump, res, fluid and tubing (boring stuff) Snail simply told me "Laiing pump, whatever res fits, deionised water and 16/10 Primochill tubing."

And despite these being the more expensive options, I cannot fault the choices.
