GPU Waterblock Compatability

I have 2 HIS 6950 ICE Q which i noticed is NOT reference design, so in respect of waterblocks i dont think the full block will fit.. can anyone confirm or deny this?

If as i suspect it wont, is it worth going for a universial block? With some heatsyncs on RAM?

Might finally get this watercooling worked out soon haha....

I think you would be better off getting a universal block. Short of getting a swap over maybe for a ref. board.

The problem is going to be the capacitors you have on your card on the left hand side. If the waterblock doesn't have correct indents to accommodate them you could damage your card.

Yeah, i was thinking that block might not go that far, but its going to be tight...

Well if your card is listed on coolingconfiguratr as incompatible, then it's incompatible

BTW, you can't hotlink images, i'd take them off or rehost them yourself
