Morning All,

I am just after a bit of advice please, could anybody advise if this is coil whine or not? i have checked a couple of Youtube videos and compared them to mine, but they sound quite different in comparison.

If it is coil whine, is there anything that can be done to reduce/stop it?

Hard to say for sure, but if it's making a noise at load that's not the noise of fans and the noise disappears when the card is not so loaded, then that's coil whine yes. Nothing you can really do as a guaranteed way of success, but having it run at load for a long time (such as overnight) may reduce it. A different power supply might help. And limiting the frame rate can help, as coil whine becomes particularly noticeable if you're in say a menu screen that renders at 300 fps.
