Hey All,

I decided to upgrade to a new case so purchased the Phantek Ethoo Primo, moved all my hardware over, then upon starting my system up my monitor wouldnt pick up my GPU, so i plugged it into the motherboard and the intergrated graphics worked fine, i checked device manager but it showed the graphics card but it had a Yellow warning sign saying "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (Code 43), also when my GPU is plugged in the Fans are running full and are really loud, i have a Sapphire R9 290

Seeing as there's no display and the fans are running at full whack it does sound as if the graphics card is faulty.

You say it worked fine in your old case, so you could have damaged it somehow when transferring it over?

One thing you could check for would be the case shorting something out somewhere? Did you use the brass coloured stand offs for the motherboard in your new case?

Try taking everything out of your case and building the essentials up (I tend to use the motherboard box as a base). If there's still no display when you boot with just CPU, RAM, GPU and the board being powered outside of the case I'd say it's time to open an RMA.
