GPU-Z temeratures..

Sorry if this has been asked before but I can't seem to find a definitive answer.

Why does GPU-Z show 2 GPU temperatures and 2 PCB temperatures? (running a single card here btw).

I read on another forums that perhaps one reading was off the GPU diode and the second reading was from the GFX drivers.. anyone know for sure?

I'd say because there are 2 temp monitoring points in the GPU and 2 points on the PCB

My 8800 has 2. i think there are 2 chips that are monitored, the GPU & there is another between the gpu and the dvi ports on my cards
