Hey guys,

it's my first post! hello all, been reading for a while but been finishing uni so no i'm free to start thinkin about building a monster.

Was just wondering what differences different gpu's make to things like photoshop, illustrator, premiere pro, and after effects?

for my final project at uni i did some stuff with CUDA programming on an 8800 so kinda interested in that, but probably have more use fro creative stuff at the mo (im a web developer)

cheers for any thoughts..

I'm pretty sure it uses DirectDraw, so you'll want a card with plenty of VRAM. But the GPU itself won't have much of an impact at all, 2D was maxed out long ago.
