Portrait of the eccentric, charismatic British motor racing legend Graham Hill, a man who lived and died during a time when sex was safe and racing was dangerous. Uniquely, he won the Formula 1 World Championship, the Indy 500 and the Le Mans 24 hours, he won the Monaco Grand Prix five times and was a great raconteur and a dashing figure with a keen eye for the ladies. Features contributions from family, close friends and former colleagues including son Damon and track rival Jackie Stewart.

Ignorance is bliss and all that - they just didn't know any better/safer so to speak.

I think if you go to the Goodwood Revival you will see cars from the 50's and 60's being raced on a circuit that is miles off modern safety standards being driven at their 'period' lap times, it's why the event is so special to me. However, it is interesting that when a modern F1 driver gets into a period car they never push them REALLY hard, although Alonso had a fair crack at Silverstone this year for 1 lap, be great to see them all line up for a race on the Friday in 50's period GP cars, I'd travel the world to see that!
