Where better to ask? :p

I'm updating my CV, and would like to include one of the following, depending on which is correct.

Installing, Configuring and Supporting BlackBerrys, iPAQs, and Pocket PCs.

Installing, Configuring and Supporting BlackBerry's, iPAQ's, and Pocket PC's.

The Grammar Police say they have you surrounded, give yourself up. Even attempted apostrophe misuse is a serious crime.

Are people still confused by this? I would have thought the sheer volume of threads regarding apostrophes, would have beaten it out of you by now :p

Ant

Plural of BlackBerry
Proper nouns ending in 'y' end in 's', not 'ies', so BlackBerrys and BlueBerrys is correct. It looks strange, so I bet that's why RIM always refers to them as "BlackBerry devices" and thus avoid having to deal with it. Bollar 02:50, Sep 10, 2004 (UTC)

What are proper nouns? --Abdull 09:20, 15 Apr 2005 (UTC)
"Proper nouns (also called proper names) are the names of unique entities." See Noun.

yeah, i had a feeling it was ys because of the proper nounage, but Borris had already answered correctly

Lose the capital letters on configuring and supporting too. Then we might let you live.

BlackBerry is the actual trademark name of the product though, is the 'ies' replacement still applicable in this case?

I'd stick with "Blackberrys", unless you're into berry-picking.

I still don't see why they require capital letters; they aren't proper nouns.
Moreover, as you start your list with a colon, each bullet underneath should begin with a lower-case letter and end with a semi.

That's grammatically speaking, however, as it's your C.V. you can do whatever the hell you like with it. :)
