Has anyone been lately? Looking forward to hikes and beaches but wondering if there were any must-see parts of the island to go to?

Down south is full of tourists, the north is locals.
It's a pretty boring island but it's nice

I ran 265km around the island last month.

The area around Tejeda is fantastic

I swear it was Gran Canaria but I can't find it easily at all. The Agatha Christie hotel? With the pine walk? God I can't believe I've forgotten the name entirely.

Go up the volcano, the views are great.
