Be cool if this game uses the PSP "wing mirror" mode :D, game is 3-4 months away yet plenty of time to improve, and thats just the prologue not the full release version.

3 to 4 months? Judging from prior efforts it's more likely 3 to 4 years if the PSP game is any timeline.

What game released 'recently' has interior rear-view, views?

As for those screenshots, I want to see them in their native resolution :(. Looks nice though (bar the mirrors, obviously).

Some of those shots look so damn good. Finally putting the PS3 horsepower to good use.

Looks like a jagged PGR4!
I dont know if were looking at the same screens.. although, a few seem to be from photo modes, such as the incredible scenery ones.. are they actually modelled environments or some photo trickery..

Those pics look incredible at first glance, but look harder and you can see that things have a very 'flat' look to them, almost like cardboard cutouts. This is especially noticeable in the pic with the red F430 beside the chairs and tables. Look at the chairs, table cloths and the red parasols, they look like simple flat 2D textures.

Also look at the flowers and trees to the front of the car, again very 'flat'.

SCE have always been good at making the GT series look good though, they just seem to use perfect colour pallets. And the car models are really nice too.

The interior of the Ferrari is almost identical in the way it has been modelled, as a result they look the same. PGR is a little blurrier in and around the dash, whereas the GT ones are jaggy.

As for their environments, each to their own. I thought the ones in GT:HD were awful, flat, billboarded, bitty textures. I'll withhold judgement til I see a none-loss video feed of this, but from the screenshots it looks the same.

If you look at the full selection of screens, while the cars look amazing, the tracks clearly don't. The trees in particular are terrible. Said this in another thread but this is just Prologue remember. I'm guessing they've just imported some GT4 tracks for it and we'll get the full GT5 quality tracks with the full GT5. Or the track we're seeing here is just placeholder graphics.

No way the full GT5 is going to release with tracks like that.

Racings games are like woman, if they look good but play crap bin them.

You want a decent looking game and great playable game.

Doesn't look anywhere near as good as I expected, especially in those apparently non-replay/pre-race shots. Cars are very nice, but the track and surrounding environment look like the current racers, or worse.

I'm sure they will be improved upon though?

I'm in the firm belief that they never intended to release this. I believe that they just used it to sell PSP's.

I think i've only ever seen one screenshot.

It was supposed to be released, what?, two years ago now?

What is this obsession with Jaggies, dont people jsut play the game and enjoy them for what they are anymore,, just good fun??

its because with high def, things like jaggies are a lot more obvious, thus shouldn't be there.

Because as games advance people expect more from them. With the dawn of HD the visuals are sharper, therefore what was once blurred into a natural AA effect isn't, so sharper edges stand out.

Can I also ask what you use to type as every post always has ',,' in it.

Tbh I have noticed just as many games with jaggies on the 360 as with PS3. Not that they stand out unless you really look closely on either console!
