Been a while since I went to Silverstone (all the way back to F1 testing in April was it?!)

Anyway, GP Masters were there and the weather was miserable (if I am honest, so was the racing to) but anyway, here are a few photos from the day. Most have had a tiny crop to remove fencing etc from the scene and also some levels.

Comment and critique on these very much appreciated.

Emerson Fittipaldi @ 200mm, 1/400, F/5.6

They look good. The Fittipaldi one is very nice.

The TGP car btw is an Arrows A4/3

Cheers for the comments everyone. Sadly none of Nigel Mansell...was stood watching from quite a distance away in the first couple of laps and by the time I was shooting he went past me once and I just about got a lovely blurred car lol!

No TC for these, just careful positioning!

Ahh, I was going for "it's that orange one I can never recognise" ;)

I see Emo's gone for a new helmet design - knicked a bit of Christian's design with the spots.

Anyway, enough of that. Great set of shots Tom, you've managed to do well given the conditions. The pans are nice, especially the Euro3000 one, it enhances the spray a bit too.

Spent far too long researching historic F1 teams since I'm not doing the F1 threads anymore. ;) Loads of time. What I've got so far will be added to be as complete as possible. Thinking about making it a book...

It's a nice helmet design tbh. Although - Emmo has grown his sideburns back. :D It's nice to see thats he's getting into the spirit of GP Masters.

Nice shots Tom,

Im still processing mine, I took about 2000 and so far ive got 700 keepers, from those im going to select my favorite 50 and process them properly and create a new gallery for them.... I also just found 1500 photos from the Silverstone Classics that I shot in July last year and never got around to going thru... eek. Ive got a lot of work ahead of me.

Did you go on the Saturday? the paddock access was great and about 100 sad buggers like me crowded around the drivers meeting cabin, got some decent shots of the all leaving.
