Grand theft auto IV patch released!

the GTA IV patch has been released at last!

makes a big difference imo. ive been able to max it! high textures, the highest renderer @ 1920x1200, 40 draw distance and 70 car density, shadows and textures at max! runs perfectly smooth and looks amazing!

Wonder why its only 33mb on there, was about 65mb on LIVE.

well the other thread was on just GTA IV, this is on the GTA IV patch, how are people gettin on with it? any better? im having a great experience with the game now! looks soo good

no AA unfortunatly =[ i know it could really use it! the jaggies are the only thing that let it down, although they aint too bad. ive seen a lot worse

I uploaded it on Rapidshare, I got it from Fileplanet (the link in the GTA 4 thread)

It is a standalone patch (can be patched offline) so is the other an online update?

ok,

the 65mb is because someone has added the patch to it twice lol.

There is a folder called content which has the 32mb patch and then another zip which contains exactly the same files again lol

It makes my game exit a lot quicker. Took ages to return to desktop before, it has about halfed the time.
