I did just get such an urge to want to play the original GTA games, 1&2, however they are tricky to find (unless I'm just useless in searching).

Is it anyone here who knows how I can get hold of them to play them in a legal way?

Normally free from Rockstar, but the site is unavailable.

Also available on Steam, but I can't seem to download them.

As there free, I doubt illegal download would be unethical here.

You did used to be able to download 1&2 for free from the Rockstar website if memory serves - not sure if that's still the case!
