Grandparent new to computing

Hi

We have just brought my grandfather a new PC. It's his first time using one and I don't have the skills to teach him.

The PC is with Vista and he wants to use WORKS 7( it came on the machine) , does any one know the best books or video/computer tutorials to get him?

Try and get him a free / cheap training course for oap's.

He might learn easier than reading from a book.

I agree with that but unfourtunatly is 86 an more or less housebound.

Has anyone used any of the learning software out there?

Also does anyone know if any of the voice programmes are any good?
