Grant of Probate waiting times?

I did it online last July and still haven't heard anything back yet so nearly a year has passed, anyone else in a similar situation?

Really? We only had to wait a few months.

Less than three months when we did it last year.

3 yrs ago .. we had to wait a yr and a half .. but you can phone them and chase it up

i was told by a solicitor last week that it's now about 6 to 8 weeks

I am buying a probate house - they reckoned it was applied for February and should be done now.

Took me 5 months and that was during peak covid.

Done one in 2019 and one in 2021, both took 6 weeks.
