Ok new rig.. q9550 @2.83 stock, asus striker extreme II with 4gb of ddr3 1600 ram anda gtx280 card but in most games i seem to get a random stutter with the sound and graphics. Each one lasts about 1-2 secs. Iam using supreme fx sound card that comes with the mobo. Its really starting to annoy me. All drivers are upto date. The stutter seems to be totally random and may not happen for 30 mins but sometimes i get a lot of stutters in a short time. Somethings defo not right but dont know where to start. Temps are fine according to CPUID monitor and gtx280 has never gone above 63 and cpu never above about 55 on the main core 0. Got good cooling all around. Any ideas?
