The 4870 or 9800GTX2 or GTX 280??

what has the best performance and gives the the bang for the buck?

i am in a dilema and have no idea which card to pick...please make suggestions.

gtx 280 is faster but double the price

9800GX2 is as fast or faster than the GTX280 and costs £140 less. The SLi issues are overplayed as well; mine runs everything fine.

how much difference is there between 1024mb 4850 and 1024mb 4870, i am using a 22" screen with a resolution of 1680 x 1050

^we haven't seen any benches so we can't know...but I can tell you that 512mb is plenty sufficient for that resolution.
