just built a new system from q6600 p35 to sandy.
didnt order a new card straight awayas i was making mind up so ran with my gtx260 216core for a few weeks.

ending up getting the gtx480 from here, took out my card and installed new no problem.

so i got round to rebuilding my old system into a new case all except a new psu (Coolermaster Elite Power 500W) start installing windows and a minute or so in pc restarts, same again then no display......scratch head for a few seconds before looking under card to see fan not spinning.

ive taken it out and put it back in new build=no dice

had graphics cards die back in x800 days and im sure they always gave signs before an untimely death or is sudden death as likley

Cheers
Glen

its not power, as i put it back into my new build with the corsair hx 620which has been running that card for 2 years and is currently powering my new sys with a 480

i was querrying it really as im unsure if the new coolermaster in old sys could have killed it?

I doubt the PSU killed it.
It probably would have just shut down.
If it doesnt work in any system anymore then RMA.
be sure NOT to tell them you were using a possibly insufficient PSU
Just incase:D
