I have just bought a Asus ATI Radeon X1550/TD 256MB, i'm not a games so i was not after anything that expensive.

Having a problem with the way text is being displayed, i just can't seem to get any text on the screen to look sharp, web pages are a concern as the text looks slightly fuzzy.

I am using Windows Vista ultimate 32bit, i have tried all the recommended settings in the help guides and also installed all the latest drivers, just can't seem to do anything that will make a difference.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Cheers

u forgot to mention what monitor u have..if its a tft then put it at its max resolution. u should give as much info on your system as possible so these guys(not noob me) can help you.

you could try enabling Cleartype...

1. Right click the Vista Desktop, Personalize.
2. Select: Windows Color and Appearance
3. Effects... forgot the rest :p (i'm on XP)

Cheers for the replies.

The monitor is a TFT, and i have selected cleartype, but this has done little to inprove the text. Some of the text is fine but it is mainly webpages that are affected.
