System Windows XP - Card Nvidia GeForce 7800 GT.

When going into the Display properties Via the desktop Properties > Settings > Advance > Adapter and then hit 'List all Modes' does this show the modes just available for the current monitor or all the modes associated with the particular graphics card irrelevant of the monitor being used?

i think it will show ALL of the possible rendered outputs.

i think there was a tick box some where that has to option to only show supported modes.

I was under that impression myself but the highest res shown is 1600 x 1200 - I thought the 7800 GT was capable of a lot higher res than that?

oh im not sure, i haven't used xp for a while now. i constantly had to set my screen to a 72hz refresh rate as it was a CRT.

im not sure about the card but it is fairly old? did they have screens that big back then?

Thanks, the reason I ask is that I am looking to get a 1900 x 1200 screen and want to make sure that my graphics card will run it.
