Graphic Card Needed

Hi to all and thanks in advance for your replys,
My name is Anthony and have just bought my first pc for 5 years, but want to upgrade the graphic card as my new pc which is AMD A4-3430 with Radeon HD Graphics card what could i upgrade it too pls as i have a PCIE16_1 slot and PCIE1X_ 1/2 slots not sure what there for. would love to play world of warcraft with the pc.

Hello Anthony. Since your CPU is relatively on the low side of power I would not buy anything above a mid range GPU.

I would recommend getting a cheap, second hand ATI 5750 or 5770 I played WoW on ultra with a single HD 5770. I think anything higher, such as a 5870 would be bottle-necked by your CPU.

You can also play WoW with your current CPU, since it has Dx11 GPU cores, albeit not many. Go 720p res and put everything on low/medium and it should be fine.

yeah they're all the same more or less. Some come with custom twin cooler fans for better overclocking, which I doubt you'll need to mess about with. Go for the cheapest and in best conditioned card.

+1 for the 5770, i have one and its a great little low end gpu that goes really well with my athlon quad.

just to let you know, edit you post asap! you have mentioned a competitor and pricing.

no naming competitors on the forums is a possible suspension and pricing is not allowed outside the members market.
