Graphic card or media player issue

Hi guys


I keep getting the below crash which can only be sorted by hitting the reset button. I think it only happens after I've been gaming then try and play a movie with media player.

The system it self isn't crashing though because you can still hear the sound playing in the back ground, also my 2nd display still displays OK.

I running the latest beta drivers.


Anyone any ideas?


PS the card is the same one in my sig.

I used to get same issue with my old hd4870x2 turned out to be bad solder on the chip when it heated up (i had about 5 years oout the card was a sad day when it died ) im not saying this is your issue but its very similar to the issues i had is this only after a hour or two gaming?
